Got a case of the Monday’s? Well forget that noise and tune into some of ours. We’ve got a real banger to start the week off with courtesy of Ohio beat hustler Scat. Repping BeeHive Productions out of the Midwest this young gun has been sitting on some weighty tunes and we’re happy to help spread the good word. Scat’s “La Cosa Nostra” EP features 3 high octane cuts that hit harder than a mafioso enforcer. Dropping on September 6th through our friends at Aspire Higher this release is not for the faint of heart. Luckily you don’t have to wait til then to get a taste because we’ve got an exclusive premiere of Scat’s tune “Bambino Abandanato”.

This is is not our first foray with Scat. As a matter of fact we’ve featured music from him before and are stoked to do so again. In an electronic fusion of space-bass and dubstep Scat morphs the sound waves into a face melting concoction of diverse influences. His style of “free form bass” is very evident throughout the tune. You can clearly detect the smatterings of trip hop and metal elements that have made up parts of Scat’s musical past. Throw in some nasty sound design, fierce wubs, and some hard hitting drum samples and you’ve got all the makings for a real head banger. Keep your ear to the ground for the full release dropping later this week and show Scat and Aspire Higher some love on social media! Turn up!
