Every now and again we come across a tune that truly embodies the essence of what it means to feel “Euphoric”. Eclipse ft. GTR, by a fairly new Vancouver producer Ben Chez, is one of those tunes. Ethereal and atmospheric with a rolling 808 backbone it’s head in the clouds and grounding simultaneously. I love the subtle but catchy lead that starts off. It sounds like both keys and bells reverberating together enticing listeners. A soaring soundscape perpetuates feelings of calmness and relaxation but it’s also motivating; downtempo but upbeat. It’s definitely a sunrise/sunset kinda vibe and I can totally picture this playing out perfectly during an eclipse. In other words it’s the epitome of what I would call Euphoric bass music.
