It’s about that time for some grimy, filthy bass music courtesy of Pittsburgh PA artist DICEY. This experimental producer utilizes a diverse auditory background drawing inspiration from hip-hop, hardcore, and metal before making the transition to electronic music. Since then he’s had the opportunity to open for some of his idols like Woolymammoth, Shlump and Tsuruda, quickly establishing himself as an adept performer.

Now his debut premiere of “Lurk” is available for all you heavy bass enthusiasts ahead of his forthcoming “One and None” EP to be released July 10th on Funkadelphia Recordings. This extra terrestrial sounding tune embraces a mechanical like style that would be as much at home on an alien space ship as on a PK rig. With hints of glitch hop, halftime and drum and bass “Lurk” incorporates these flavors and more into an industrial and psychedelic soundscape. Be sure to check out the rest of the EP when it drops for more face melting music!
